Still selling

easonThe Little Book of Dublin has established itself as a bestseller in Dublin and abroad to both visitors and denizens of the city alike.
It is now like an old friend encountered everywhere in Dublin bookshops.
A friend said: ” There is no bookshop that I go into that I do not find copies of your hardback on sale.”
Long may it continue.
Thank you

Dublin Folk Tales

8728 Dublin FTales CVR.inddSupplies of a reprinted Dublin Folk Tales are with the distributors.

Dublin Folk Tales was the first published of the Irish county folk tales series from The History Press Ireland.

It consistently goes in and out of stock in retailers.

This time, it went out of print. It’s back now and will sell alongside my Little Book of Dublin

When you see it, turn it face out, for the jacket alone sells this book.

Thanks

News coming in that people who already bought the Little Book of Dublin, and have read it, are passing it along to friends and family members with their commendation.
Long may it continue; the original viral phenomenon: “I read this book, it’s great, here it is for you to read.”
You cannot beat word of mouth among readers for a title to be successful.

love to all

Thank you to everyone who came along last night, June 6, to the Bandroom in Chapelizod to help launch the Little Book of Dublin with me.
Thanks to Peter Kavanagh for setting the tone.
Thanks to Sheila Dooley for launching the book.
Thanks to Martin Nolan for playing some lovely Dublin tunes for us.
Thanks to Ann Fagan for the interruptions from the audience.
It was a magnificent, mellifluous summer night when we all came together to celebrate the community that is Dublin and Dubliners.
And I was privileged to be there.
My love to you all.
