Dubliner about to be read all over North America and Dublin
Press release 07July14
Dublin writer and storyteller Brendan Nolan is set for success in the United States and Canada after his new book The Little Book of Dublin was picked up by American distribution company Trafalgar Square Publishing.
The title will be included in their fall catalogue from September. The company supplies stock to major resellers across the United States and Canada.
“The catalogue comes out twice a year and it is a big deal in the book trade,” said Brendan. “This will give the book huge coverage. The Little Book of Dublin is of interest to locals who love Dublin but also people who are on holiday in Dublin or Dubs who are living away.”
The Little Book of Dublin is a compendium of fascinating and entertaining truths about the city, past and present.
It is already selling well in Dublin bookshops and is set for strong promotion in the run up to the Christmas peak-buying season. “Each piece is around 400 words long so you can dip in and out of it,” said Brendan
Funny, fast-paced and fact-packed, readers discover gems about Dublin’s folklore and customs, saints and sinners, crime and punishment, sports and games, trade and industry and, of course, its literary heritage. A reliable reference book and a quirky guide, this treasure trove can be dipped into time and time again to reveal something new about the people, the heritage and secrets of this ancient and fascinating city.
